    Very expensive summer.

Although it was costly it was probably the best summer by far. At first summer was spending weekends in Ventura for my CNA program until july. I never thought I would be a Nurse until I found out Small Business Management was just not for me. I am glad I joined a profession where I can save lives. I just hope that I can make it through all the struggles in school and in the end it is really what I dreamed of. I have been reading and researching a lot and Nurses become really stressed and that is not how I want to live my life. It kind of made me want to change majors to Lab work/Specimen collecting but I don’t want to look back now. Lots of things didn’t go as planned but hey… “If you want to make God laugh.. make plans”. Summer this year was really enjoyable despite the fact that the economy is still in the low.Swimming, lots of drinking and me blacking out twice, beaches, bbqs, Universal Studios, Arizona, Chumash, Morongo, cousin’s graduation, and more that I can’t really think of at the moment. It amazes me how fast  money can disappear as fast as it gets in your hands.. It sucks being young and unable to splurge on whatever you want/like. Since I quit my job I’ve just been staying home waiting to move.. I can’t say Arizona is beautiful but there is so much to do and living is so much cheaper. My parents are finally gonna be all alone, they are thinking of moving to a 1bedroom apt by themselves once jeann, my brother, and I move. We have been looking for apartments/condos/townhouses and I’ve got to say apartment hunting sucks huge balls, especially when you find something you like but it isn’t in your price range. Oxnard will be missed… but things are changing in Oxnard, they want Oxnard to be the next Beverly Hills when it cannot compare. Freeways are packed, streets are packed, and it’s turning into another busy city which I hate. I dislike all the major freeways LA,OC,SD have but soon enough I’m sure Oxnard will be the same. Sometime next week I’ll be driving to Arizona again.. probably by myself to Interview for a job in Maricopa Medical Center on the Med/surg level. I am so excited and scared at the same time. If things go the way they should..we should all be moved to Arizona by the end of August. So stoked to live on my own finally.. no more nagging from the parents. They want me to pay everything myself.. and I assured them that once I am on my feet I will be paying everything on my own. I have always been independent when it came to my spending money.. now i’m taking a big leap to pay my own rent, car insurance, and bills, and Once I officially become an RN then I am considering buying a home in Arizona for the time being until I am confident I can survive moving back to LOVELY California. Take care everyone and Goodluck.
